The LOVE Dare

1 Corinthians 13:1-3

Today's Dare

For the next day, demonstrate PATIENCE and to say nothing negative to your spouse at all.If the temptation arises,choose not to say anything. It's better to hold your tongue than to say something you'll regret.

This is easy for me to do with my children but not with my husband. So I knew this Dare would be hard for me.

The morning started out rocky and I thought to my self. He did not read day one. I stayed strong and bit my tongue. I left for the doctor while the kids took naps. When I got home he greeted me with a smile. The kids had woke up and he had made them a snack. After a few hours went by I noticed the change in his mood and voice. I went to go sit on the sofa and GUESS WHAT ... He must have read day one while I was gone. His book was right there on the sofa.

Lets just say by the end of the night. We were cuddling on the sofa together. It goes to show ..if you watch your tongue. They listen more.

LIFE

I'm just going to open up and spill out. As I have said before many times, at the end of this road I will know who is there and who is not. I have been putting my Friends first and Husband and Family last. I'm trying to have healthy friendships in my life. I feel like the best kind of friendship are the ones that know LIFE happens. We might not talk everyday but when we do its like we never missed a DAY. I love ALL my friends and have TONS of great friends. Its not the friends its "ME". I would give the shirt of my back for a friend but would get upset if Brooks needed mine. At one point in "LIFE" Brooks and I could not wait to see each other. The world around me stopped and he was ALL I could see. I want that back again. :) :) Its been a few years. Our kids always come first we are " so in LOVE with them." but to have healthy kids you need the health marriage. So with all that said GOD, Husband, Children, Family and FRIENDS. :) :) :) The love Dare Book starts next week its a 40 Day Challenge for married couples. Brooks and I are going to do it. We want to fall in "LOVE" with each other again.

"Juggling 5 kids"

We have our days that's for sure.

Today would be one of them. There all so different which makes it more fun.

Brooks had knee surgery on Friday so I have been out numbered.

When its too "Quiet" ..Take a head count :)

It was a easy clean up. The crazy thing is it made me SMILE !
